The Athlete
Tejas started with tennis, then moved to badminton, before finding swimming. Once he discovered para swimming, he threw himself into it — and after only three months of training, he stepped up at his first Para Swimming Nationals.
He came away with one gold and three silver medals. That first Nationals made him commit to the sport, and he has kept pushing to higher levels ever since — all the way to representing India internationally.

I don't race for a season's best. I race to beat myself.
Tejas measures progress against his previous performances rather than chasing a season-best label. Every competition is another opportunity to improve on the swimmer he was before.
BETTER THAN BEFORE.
